The Three Graces of the world famous Liverpool Waterfront (from right to left): the former offices of the Mersey Docks and Harbour Board, now Port of Liverpool Building (1903-07), the Cunard Building (1914-16), and the Royal Liver Building (1908-11).
The former headquarters of the Cunard Line shipping company, now an office building, is seen also from the inside.
The space in front of the buildings is Pier Head, which contains a number of memorials. One of them is a memorial for shipowner Alfred Lewis Jones who was designated as the “Uncrowned King of West Africa”. less
